Thank you for your interest in the 2026 Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce Business Awards of Distinction.

To nominate a business you feel is deserving of recognition, please tell us:

- the full name of the business AND contact information including email and phone number.

- in what category you feel the business is deserving (CHOOSE ONE).

- why you feel the business should be nominated. 

We will contact the nominated business for supporting information which will be used in determining our award recipients. This is not a voting process - no need for multiple nominations for the same business.

Every nominator will receive a confirmation of receipt. If you do not receive confirmation of your nomination, please contact the Chamber Office at 780-532-5340 or email info@gpchamber.com. 

Recipients will be announced during Small Business Week in October.     

General Criteria

To be a valid entry in the Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce Awards of Distinction, a business must: 

  • Be operating in the Grande Prairie area at the time of the awards presentation; 
  • Not have previously won in the same category in the past three years; 
  • Not have anyone in their management, on their board, or in their employ serving on the Grande Prairie Chamber Awards of Distinction selection committee for the category in which they've been nominated. 

Award applicants are not required to be a member of the Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce. The planning committee reserves the right to reallocate nominees into a more appropriate award category than the one submitted.
